Celebrating National Chocolate Week in Style

It’s here- the week we’ve all been waiting for, when diets are thrown from the window and indulging is a necessity. That’s right- National Chocolate Week.

From the 12th-18th of October, the UK’s biggest Chocolate celebration hits the UK, not only whetting our palettes and expanding our waistlines in preparation for the festive season, but also allowing us a guilt-free week of food. (After all, it is a national celebration!)

Chocolate Afternoon Tea Jumeirah Lowndes

To celebrate, Lowndes Bar & Kitchen at the Jumeirah Lowndes Hotel have created a chocolate inspired afternoon tea. Every chocoholics dream, this includes delicious homemade scones with Nutella, strawberries dipped in white chocolate, chocolate pecan brownie and a mouthwatering slice of chocolate opera cake.

And as if this isn’t enough, the Bar & Kitchen also offers all-day dining with a plethora of sumptuous chocolate goodies to get your taste buds tingling. From a Belgian waffle with a dark chocolate sauce and vanilla cookie ice cream to their signature dish of warm soft centered chocolate pudding with vanilla ice cream you are in for a treat this chocolate week.

The Rib Room Bar and Restaurant at the Jumeirah Carlton Tower in Knightsbridge also has an extremely tempting main and dessert menu in keeping with the chocolate theme. The daily lunch menu features a black forest chocolate delice with kirsch ice cream, and the Sunday lunch menu a Manjari chocolate delice with fresh raspberries, strawberry compote and honeycomb.

The Chocolate Afternoon Tea is available daily at the Lowndes Bar & Kitchen from 3pm-6pm.
