Focusing on ‘Beauty of Power’ Belstaff SS16 collection is strong, powerful and undeniably beautiful…
Metallic silvers, pastel pinks, beiges, whites and stripes were at the forefront of the garments. The models stood amidst piles of sand, hinting towards Belstaff’s inspiration of the coast and the sea.
Unlike in past collections where the looks felt heavier, the looks were as light and airy as the soft piano music filling the air. Following the ongoing trend for the upcoming season, the outfits were loosely structured – waterfall skirts, tapered trousers and open trench coats giving off a subtle military-esque feel.
Although the tailoring of the garments hinted towards more androgyny, the ‘light-as-air’ fabrics and the laser cut intricacies gave it the ultimate feminine feel.
