Pigmentation isn’t as strong as with their crayons, but is stronger than with their range of balms and still leaves a good result. Each lipstick has a smooth, satin finish and locks in moisture for eight hours. Normally when a lipstick makes claims such as this it turns out to be false, but we were impressed with how long the new Burt’s Bees lipsticks really did last. Whilst it didn’t last for the full eight hours (it came off after around five) this was still impressive.Burts Bees lipstick

During wear your lips also remain lovely and moist thanks to the naturally moisturising ingredients such as Beeswax, Moringa Oil, Raspberry Seed Oil, and Vitamin E. Thanks to these, the lipsticks glide on your lips really smoothly, with even colour after just a couple of swipes – it’s one of the best natural formulas I have ever tried.

The presentation of the lipsticks are also beautiful.  Made from 100% recyclable material (of course) they are in a soft brown casing with a honeycomb detailing – nodding towards the brands name. Not only that, but the honeycomb also shows the colour of the lipstick inside, an innovative design idea which makes it even easier to spot the colour you wish to wear.Burts Bees lipstick

Burt’s Bees have fast evolved from their simple lip balm range and are now appealing to an even wider target audience. Their contemporary packaging and even wider choice of products make it ideal as a gift for someone else or for your makeup bag. These lipsticks are a real handbag essential and we can’t wait to get our hands on even more of the colours…
