It’s been summer scorcher with temperatures in Britain soaring above Barcelona, Brussels and Lisbon to hit a super-hot 33 degrees. With the heatwave set stay to strong, research from Sainsbury’s has revealed that Brits believe 27 degrees is the ideal temperature for a heatwave.
Whilst most used to dream of blazing temperatures, research from Sainsbury’s shows that Brits are still set to moan, with the average Brit complaining it’s too hot, or too cold, over 169 times a year – that’s just over once every two days. Just over a quarter (26%) confess to moaning about the weather at work, whereas 21% use the weather as an icebreaker in conversations and unusually one in 8 (13%) confess they end their day by complaining about the weather when they are in bed with a partner.
