House of iKons returns to LFW this February

House-of-Ikons

House of iKons promises another breathtaking show…

Since House of iKons first burst into the scene in 2014 it has gone from a smaller-scale display of some of the world’s newest designers to a solid platform of global talent. Designers have been propelled into the spotlight, visitors have flocked from all over to witness the show and the wealth of success has been in abundance.

The brainchild behind one of the fashion industries most influential shows is Savita Kaye, her ethos of nurturing designers and allowing them to shine, is a real breath of fresh air in what is so often a pretentious and cut-throat industry.

This year the show will be during London Fashion Week on the 18th of February in the Millennium Mayfair Hotel and we are pleased to be the main media partner. Designers from all around the world will be exhibiting, including Nicole Jane, Jolie and Niche Clothing.

But that is not all. For Savita promises so much more than a catwalk – she promises a show. With live performances and an array of designs so bewilderingly spectacular you will leave feeling both amazing and inspired, it is not an event to be missed.

We spoke to Savita in the lead up to the show:

1How has House of iKons progressed since it’s first show?

It started from London during London fashion week September 2014, since then we have launched in total in 5 cities and 4 continents world wide.

2What has been your highlight of House of iKons?

When my designers got signed to House of Fraser, Macy’s, Bloomingdales… Yen being a prime example. As well as boutiques. Some of my designers have hit the red carpet for the golden globes, billboard awards, Grammies and major red carpet film premieres. To name but a few, Yen, Rocky Gathercole, Cary Santiago. Some designers are beautiful by approached for music videos, Gabriella Gambetta and Haus of MoHawk. This year’s Grammies being held 16th Feb (two days before my show) two designers exclusive pieces will be out there, Haus of MoHawk and Reka Orosz. My designer’s successes are my highlights

3What has organising your House of iKons shows taught you?

You can never be too organised. I’m always looking at ways of improving my shows, moving the goal post. One should never be too complacent.

4Where do you see House of iKons in five years time?

In five years, see House of iKons as a main global creative hub for designers, music artists, film and tv directors, models and anyone in the fashion industry really!

5What are you most looking forward to about the next House of iKons show?

In the February show, I am very excited that there are new designers from as far as Australia covering the globe to the USA. There are also some big announcements coming up that will rock the pillars of fashion later this year!

The show is sponsored by Indie Faces, Hema Vyas, Simply Unique and Safs World of Beauty. You can purchase tickets for the afternoon and evening shows here.
