Top shop Unique Nick Knight

Nick Knight is the founder of award-winning fashion website SHOWstudio.com and is one of the world’s most reputable and influential photographers. This Sunday, live from the Duveen Galleries at Tate Britain he will capture the true atmosphere and unseen culture of the Unique show day through a series of images to be released in real-time through Topshop’s Instagram.

From the initial set up through to the finale, the SHOWstudio team will delve even further into Knight’s creative process live from GoPro camera to streaming app Periscope in a new and immersive functionality accounted this month.

Nick Knight comments,

‘Fashion systems are developing so rapidly, and there are so many new and amazing possibilities. SHOWstudio has always championed change and innovation, so the challenge of posting real-time and live steaming from GoPro straight to Periscope is one we relish. SHOWstudio was also founded on the principal of championing fashion film and moving image, so we were delighted to accept TOPSHOP’s offer to collaborate on capturing the TOPSHOP Unique Show in the most dynamic way possible.’

All Nick’s imagery from the show will be shared directly to TOPSHOP’s 6.2 million strong Instagram community and to consumers at the global flagship Oxford Circus store in a dedicated London Fashion Week area and in a dynamic 3-D window installation, conceptualised by set designer, Thomas Petherick.
