Yogagise at Spitbank Fort – taking yoga to a whole new level

Yoga has taken a real popularity boost in recent years, with fitness lovers bending over backwards (quite literally) to get a piece of the trend. And just in case your regular yoga class at your local gym doesn’t quite cut it, or you want to incorporate some fitness and wellbeing into a break away, Spitbank Fort has just the answer – yogagise.

Yoga spitbank fort

A revitalising wellness escapade, yogagise is a parntership between one of the UK’s most luxurious private islands in the middle of the Solent and yoga teacher Sarah Highfield. The result is a revitalising wellness escapade set to relax and rejuvenate all those who visit. The sessions take place over a series of dates in the summer, with an energising yoga session aiming to calm the mind and strengthen the body. This will take place atop the fort with panoramic views across the waters to the Isle of Wight on one side and mainland UK on the other night. This means as you stretch and breathe the session away, you can really feel on top of the world, away from the hustle and bustle of busy city life.

And the experience is so much more than just a yoga class. Whilst there, you get to indulge in a whole overnight experience which includes a return boat trip, champagne on arrival, a delicious lunch, two yoga sessions with Sarah (one in the morning and another one in the afternoon) a variety of healthy smoothies, a five course dinner in the Officer’s Mess and a full Fort breakfast the following morning.

The dates for Yogagise at Spitbank Fort are: Monday 26 June, Tuesday 11 July, Tuesday 25 July and Monday 7 August and costs from £798.00 for two people, per room. For more information and reservations, please visit www.solentforts.com
