They want revellers to be free to explore the stories, flavours and nuances through the act of drinking as opposed to extended explanations and over the top decorations.

A far cry from a stuffy and pretentious bar, they aim to welcome you with open arms each and every time you visit. Upon its re-opening next week, Monday 17th May, patrons will once again be able to enjoy serves from Coupette’s current menu. ‘Urban Legends & Their Uprising Tales’ documents the journey of the bar’s tight-knit team- including Bar Manager Andrei Marcu- through Bethnal Green, as they tell their tales through cocktails, illustration, and film. The menu comprises six chapters that are an exploration into the darker side of East London.
