Kanuka Tea – All you need is a nice cuppa!

Tea enthusiasts rejoice! Kanuka tea is here, the latest tea brand to make its mark in Britain

Kanuka Tea was started by John Hesler, a construction worker. After 12 years of drinking ‘builders tea’ he explored the world of different tea leaves to bring you these magical blends.

Kanuka Tea knows that in the UK, we take our tea seriously and its more than just a beverage to us, so after carefully taste testing teas they have launched some of the finest blends that not only taste delightful, they smell good, look good and are naturally great for you.

What makes Kanuka different from your boxed tea bags?

Dont get me wrong, I love a cup of tea in the morning and use teabags, like most of us, but Kanuka makes that tea drinking experience a little more special. They use loose-leaf tea which produces less dust and is of a higher quality of what is found in most teabags. Infusing the tea leaves whole allows it to retain its natural positive qualities and aroma. Resulting in a fuller flavour and ensuring your cuppa is perfect.

I was lucky to be sent Kanuka Tea’s  Earl Grey and Orange blossom with Mint Rooibos to try. The second you open the attractive packaging the smell is so inviting, you can’t help but want to try the tea immediately and every other blend there is on offer.

Kanuka is like the “tea version” of The Body Shop, the smell lures you in, you can’t help but want to smell and try everything in the store.

Earl Grey Blue Star

Visually gorgeous! Bright purple-blues swirl around the pot as the tea is brewing, Kanuka have combined black tea with bergamot and cornflowers for a distinguished taste. The perfect brewing instructions are clear on the packaging, and I can confirm this was a tremendous cup of tea. Buy hereKanuka Tea

Orange Blossom and Mint Rooibos

The citrusy flavours definitely overthrow the mint in this tea, but the subtle undertone brings a fresh hint to the brew. With slices of zesty dried orange and caffiene free rooibos, this would be a great tea on a summers morning. Buy here
