Kat Florence and Sarah Jessica Parker raising funds for victims of the Nepal Earthquakes
If there is one thing better than shopping, it is guilt free shopping, and you can’t get more guilt-free than the new auction scheme with Kat Florence. Raising funds for victims of the Nepal Earthquakes, a collection of Kat Florence’s jewellery worth more than £3million will be up for bidding, including four stunning items which were worn by Sarah Jessica Parker as part of her partnership – and future design collaboration – with the jeweller. Money raised from the 38 pieces which will be available will go to A Drop Of Life – a non-profit organisation whose main initiative for 2016 is to reconstruct elementary school for 420 children in Pokhara, Nepal.
The four signature pieces worn by Sarah Jessica Parker include the largest Tanzanite and Paraiba Tourmaline ever to be auctioned. Both were sourced, polished and cut by Kat Florence and her team who search the world for the most precious gems.
When speaking of the collaboration, Sarah Jessica parker said: “I’m deeply touched by this meaningful auction and I am very excited about the organisation that we picked. It felt like such a personal effort, like they were reaching to individuals in a community. I think this can be really impactful”.
As well as these, there will also be an 18-carat white gold necklace with a 423.56-carat Tanzanite set at the heart of diamonds weighing more than 53 carats; · 18-carat white gold ring with a 12 carat Rubellite nestled among 1 carat of diamonds and so much more.
Kat Florence said: “Sarah Jessica Parker and I are honored to be in a position to hold this charity auction with Tiancheng International. To showcase many of the largest gemstones ever to appear at auction is a dream come true.
