Hire someone to queue up at Black Friday for you

Sometimes we’ll do anything for a Black Friday deal…

Black Friday is nearly here and underneath all the bargains and amazing savings are thousands of exhausted shoppers, fingers numb from the cold, hair frazzled, knuckles bruised from the fight to get that last Xbox on special offer. (We’re joking… sort of.)

Which is why if you’re looking to avoid the downright dull experience of queuing for these deals which have been beckoning you enticingly from every billboard, email, newsletter, shop window and television advert for the last few weeks, then you’re in luck.

For you can now get someone to queue up for you. Yep, that’s right. You can stay at home, warm, snug and queue-frenzy free and send someone else to put in the tedious work for you, leaving you to just wrap the bargained goods after the event. London based start up Bidvine is offering ‘queuers’ equipped with ‘energy bars, water and personal toilet facilities to ensure they can stay in long as long as necessary.’

And it’s simple enough for you to source one, all you need to do is enter your postcode, your shopping destination and how long you estimate the queue to be. There is a charge of £15 per hour however, so unless the savings will be more than this, it’s probably not worth it.

What do you think? An unnecessary consumerism or a stroke of genius? Let us know in the comments below…
