Make sure you invest in some nice thick curtains for winter, for while these might not seem the most obvious of at home comforts, they will help keep the heat in and look great in your space too!

Clear your radiators

There’s no point your radiators doing all the work of oozing lovely heat into your room if they’re blocked by large pieces of furniture. Move your furniture, curtains or drying clothes away from the radiator to let the hot air circulate freely around the room. You’ll be surprised just how much more heat you will be able to feel. The same goes for placing a shelf above your radiators, these can help to deflect the hot air around the room.
