Introducing BlissCloud Yoga Mats – Beautiful, Functional, Blissful

Introducing BlissCloud yoga mats – the most beautiful (yet functional) Yoga Mats you’ll find anywhere…

BlissCloud yoga mats began when business owner Anna was searching for a shiny new mat, to cherish when she found her love for yoga, but was frustrated that she couldn’t find a mat that had all the qualities she wanted. She wanted it to be “Beautiful, Comfortable, Functional, High-Vibe, Non-Toxic, Washable, Eco-friendly & Fair Trade.” So to get around this,  she decided to create her own, and BlissCloud was born.

What makes BlissCloud yoga mats differ from other mats?

BlissCloud yoga mats are made from 100% natural tree rubber so are both soft underfoot as well as better for the environment. The Original BlissCloud mat offers unequalled comfort and performance for your yoga practice. It weighs 4Ibs and comes complete with its own carry strap. The BlissCloud Travel Mat is a lighter weighing only 1lb, more portable version of the Original Mat.

How do they compare to traditional “sticky mats”?

It turns out that traditional ‘sticky mats’ may be doing your yoga practice more harm than good. They can act as a ‘prop’ preventing you from actively engaging your muscles (especially those in your core). On BlissCloud yoga mats, you are able to transition from one pose to another with ease. Control comes from the activation of your muscles rather than an over-reliance on the ‘stickiness’ of your mat. As you sweat, a traditional rubber mat will start to lose its grip. The grip of your BlissCloud actually increases the sweatier you get. If you’d like to increase the grip prior to your yoga practice you can always give your mat a light spritz of water!

Anna had in mind and heart to make all her products as Eco-Friendly and Ethical as possible. Because of this, all mats are Biodegradable, Recyclable, Free from PVC, Free from Toxic glues and phthalates, printed with non-fade water-based inks and Fair Trade. If that’s not good enough each BlissCloud purchase supports The Karuna Trust to end caste-based discrimination, poverty & inequalities in India & Nepal. They are also all100% machine washable.
