Jewel tones offer pops of colour in the stools and a bright glow-sign above the main wall says “happy fingers and toes.” It’s a place you feel instantly at ease – the beauticians don’t hide behind surgical-style masks in silence, instead, they welcome you with a herbal tea and you can chat as you relax and receive your treatment. There are five treatment spaces for manicures and three for pedicures, but we’d recommend booking to secure your spot.

Hands and feet are soaked, scrubbed and massaged, cuticles tidied and nails painted with true expertise, in one of their many, many polish shades. And prices are very reasonable – far more so than you might expect. Manicures start from just £12 and there’s even an option for a “Little Dive Manicure or Pedicure” – for those up to age 12, ideal for a pampering mother-daughter day.
Once you’ve had your fingers and toes preened to perfection, head down the stairs to a little sanctuary under the city, where two luxurious treatment rooms await. Here you can sink into the plush massage beds and feel the tension instantly worked out of your muscles as the gentle sounds of soft jazz fill the air and the lights are dimmed. The air smells of massage oil and it’s refreshingly peaceful. There are a number of different treatment available and you can speak to their specialists if there are certain areas you need to be worked on.
