Nine Lives cocktail bar kicks off 2022 NFL playoffs with Tequila & Tacos

January doesn’t need to be all doom and gloom – as can be seen in London Bridge’s Nine Lives cocktail bar. Head down on Sunday 16th January where they will be hosting renowned pop-up American sports bar and taqueria, Bad Sports, to kick off the 2022 NFL playoff season and the road to Superbowl 56. The evening sees two wildcard playoff games at 6pm and 9pm which will be shown on multiple screens throughout the bar.

During your time there, you can expect an exclusive menu of delicious El Tequileño cocktails that aren’t to be missed alongside the no-nonsense beer, Pistonhead. Food wise, tuck into Nine Live’s resident street food kitchen, Tigre Tacos food truck which is situated outside the bar’s pedestrianized and cobbled ‘Nine Lives Alley’. Tigre Tacos takes its inspiration from 70’s Southern California and serves seasonal and sustainable pescatarian tacos such as Baja fish tacos and Pulpo tostadas.

Music will be provided by Bad Sports’ resident DJ’s, the Prosecction Boyz:  Martelo and Maurice. The pop-up will also be launching the 2022 Bad Sports merch capsule, featuring the much-coveted BS Super Bowl T-shirts, embroidered baseball caps and more, which will be available to buy on the evening. Tickets for the main event, the Superbowl, live from LA on February 13th will also be available.

The 2021 / 22 NFL season has been a classic already, featuring old gunslingers like Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers defying the years and going toe to toe with a new breed of playmakers in Lamar Jackson and Patrick Mahomes.
