For a romantic break away: Santorini

Shutters in shades of jewel green and butter yellow are flung open to coax in a breeze and cobbled stone floors wind through the quaint streets. It’s an island that whispers and time seems slower. Relax in a plunge pool overlooking the ocean, tuck into authentic crusty bread and olive oil with dinner and sip local wine as you watch the sunset. It offers all you can need for a truly romantic break away.

Three Greek Islands you need to visit Crete is the fifth-largest island in the Mediterranean and Greece’s largest. It is famed for its beautiful coastline swathed with crystal clear waters and soft sandy beaches. There are difficult to reach coves just begging to be explored if the right adventurer comes along, and busy resorts where you can sip cocktails in between taking dips in the water. Be sure to visit Balos, a stunning beach locally known as the “Cretan Caribbean” where the sea is shallow and warm and the views unbeatable. It is an island packed with historical sights to see and is easy to get around to ensure you see most of them. Be sure to visit the Acropolis of Lindos, the valley of the butterflies, the thermal baths at Kallithea and the ancient city of Lalyssos.
