Review: AIDA Shoreditch – A boutique and coffee shop you need to visit

In a style only Shoreditch could muster, AIDA Shoreditch is a fashion-lovers haven that if you do not know about, you have to pay a visit.

Encompassing that quirky aspect Shoreditch is so well known for, AIDA is a mix between a boutique and a coffee shop, offering hipster-style sunglasses and accessories and a wide range of stylish, quirky and eclectic clothing as well as truly delicious cakes and teas.

With exposed beams and piping creating a open and contemporary atmosphere and various armchairs, vintage signs and innovative furnishings, this really is a boutique unlike any other.
Whilst the exterior of the building gives off the pretence of a minimalist shop, the interior is another world altogether, whisking you away from the hustle and bustle of London and landing you somewhere you rather wish to stay.

Split on two levels with womenswear and a coffee shop on the first floor and a basement level devoted to menswear, this establishment is larger than it looks and welcomes you to take a browse. Staff are very friendly, smiling upon your entrance and asking if you need help, before allowing you to rummage the racks at your own leisure- there are no pretentious sales-assistants  breathing down your neck here!

You can expect a variety of designer names such as Chie Mihara, Atelier Do Sapato and Kat Maconie in the footwear department, and various vintage brands such as Wondaland and TBA- both bound to impress.

If you are looking for a bit of full-on vintage, the fun hair and make-up parlous at the back offers to give you a complete vintage look- a fun and fabulous addition to your trip.

And if the shopping wears you out, (or you have a meticulously fashion-picky other half) you can stop for a delicious slice of cake and a coffee to recharge your batteries or simply pass the time.

A definite stop for those looking for something a little different.
