Each of their drinks are presented in beautiful classic glassware and consciously balanced for simplicity and discovery.

Each drink at Coupette is presented in beautiful classic glassware and the complex ideas and lengthy procedures take place behind the scenes as opposed to in showy garnishes. They want revellers to be free to explore the stories, flavours and nuances through the act of drinking as opposed to extended explanations and over the top decorations.

After all, sometimes the art of simplicity is the best and Coupette believes in this. A far cry from a stuffy and pretentious bar, they aim to welcome you with open arms each and every time you visit. Sink into a soft booth surrounded by puddles of atmospheric candle light, observe the quirky art on the walls and feel your stresses melt away. Upon its re-opening next week, Monday 17th May, patrons will once again be able to enjoy serves from Coupette’s current menu. ‘Urban Legends & Their Uprising Tales’ documents the journey of the bar’s tight-knit team-  including Bar Manager Andrei Marcu-  through Bethnal Green, as they tell their tales through cocktails, illustration, and film. The menu comprises six chapters that are an exploration into the darker side of East London.
