Looking to dodge the crowds and do something a bit different this summer? You’re in luck. Somerset House are welcoming visitors this summer to Dodge, a thrilling new open-air experience that takes an inventive twist on the traditional fairground.
What is Dodge at Somerset House?
Dodge at Somerset House features dodgems with a difference, bold installations from acclaimed artists and a selection of food and drinks. Somerset House is one of the best places to be Seen in the City and Dodge makes it even more so. You can enjoy delicious street food, cocktails, sundaes and live music – all while revelling in a modern take on the traditional fairground. Experiences include:
Bumps per minute – A reinvention of traditional fairground dodgems where every thump triggers explosive new musical material, tracked to each dodgem
An immersive courtyard installation – Co-designer and creative director of the 2021 Brits, Yinka Ilori has created an installation featuring a range of brightly-coloured seating booths, ideal for outdoor gatherings with family and friends
Delicious food offerings – Relax in a Yinka Ilori-designed seating booth and tuck into a range of delicious dishes such as bone marrow beef burgers, spiced butternut squash falafel wraps, green chilli sriracha fries and super sundaes.
Weekend bump & brunch: Enjoy hearty homemade waffles, DJ sets, cocktails and unlimited dodgem rides
Late night DJ sets at Dodge Lates – Get your groove on to the likes of throwdown masters Queen House Party, BBC Asian Network’s Manara, Rinse FM’s Oh Annie Oh and an exclusive session from Somerset House’s Future Producers

Price: Dodge at Somerset House is free entry to site, £5 per person for dodgem rides and packages available for pre-bookings (inclusive of rides, drinks and table reservations) Free unlimited dodgems for under 12s on Tuesdays and Wednesdays
