Whether or not you are heading abroad this summer, experience a taste of sunnier climates with easyJet as they bring you a completely free and utterly immersive theatre, designed to whisk you far away from the streets of London and off to somewhere breathtaking.
In partnership with Cote d’Azur, Antibes, Cannes, and Nice Tourist Boards, the event is called “Un Voyage sur la Côte d’Azur” and is building on the success of its inaugural event in 2016. It will allow you to step aboard a plane and be magically transported to a romantic adventure played out across the glamorous French Côte d’Azur. Inspired by the magic and splendour of classic Hollywood films like the Cary Grant and Grace Kelly classic, To Catch A Thief and, more recently, La La Land, Un Voyage sur la Côte d’Azur promises to be a feast for the senses, delighting visitors with the sights, sounds and love-stories of France’s most glamorous jet-set destination. Created by the world’s first immersive theatre company, The Department’s spellbinding production invites you to #FEELCOTEDAZUR as you are whisked from the red carpet of Cannes, to the carnival of Nice and the beaches of Antibes. (Although unfortunately you won’t be leaving with a tan.)
Be sure to experience something special and head on down to Bloomsbury in London for the experience on Friday the 5th and Saturday the 6th of May to catch the free performances. They run from 16:30 on the Friday and 11:30 on the Saturday for 15 minutes. The event is suitable for all ages and free to attend.
