Incredibly revered, Hamilton has definitely lived up to all the hype. It’s a hip-hop musical based on the first secretary of the US Treasury, Alexander Hamilton, and it explores minorities, immigrants and their culture. It’s sure to capture your attention and whisk you away with its edge-of-the-seat drama.

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child
If there were ever doubts that Harry Potter could be introduced to the West End, these have well and truly been quashed thanks to Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.
It’s a two-part, five-hour show, but that won’t put Harry Potter fans off as they find out how Harry Potter and his rival, Draco Malfoy, are faring in adulthood, and how their two children, Albus and Scorpius, are trying to get out of their parents’ shadows and navigate life at Hogwarts.

White Teeth
Based on the book by Zadie Smith, White Teeth takes a look at the cultural ‘melting pot’ of North London, following multiple generations. It’s on at the Kiln Theatre, which is part of the community where the novel is set, making this a very apt, relevant play.

Magic Mike Live
Fancy something even more light-hearted? Then Magic Mike Live may be just what you’re looking for. Its full title, ‘Channing Tatum Presents Magic Mike Live’, demonstrates how this show in Covent Garden is a fantastic spin-off from the popular comedy about a stripper. It’s co-directed by Tatum and Alison Faulk and is full of acrobatics and dance, which make for a great evening of entertainment.
