Award-winning cocktail bar and restaurant operator, The Breakfast Group, has launched its latest venue, Lucy Wong, in Fitzrovia; revealing a stunning cocktail collection, with Dim Sum to pair.
Fitzrovia is welcoming its newest cocktail bar – Lucy Wong, an eclectic underground cocktail bar inspired by the 1957 novel “The World of Suzie Wong” by Richard Mason. Bringing decadent and timeless glamour to Rathbone Place, it encapsulates the love story and time capsule of Hong Kong in the late 50s making for a stunning and atmospheric place to head for a tipple or two!

The cocktail list at Lucy Wong features signature creations, which change regularly and are inspired by old classics with an inventive Asian twist. The conception of the limited-edition signature cocktails is overseen by renowned mixologist Dré Masso and includes a collection of new masterpieces.
Among the new cocktail creations is the gin-based Shanghai 75 and thevodka Eastern Sour – both drinks contain spirits from The Orientalist alongside other tasty ingredients. The Cherry Blossom Manhattan combines Goji infused Maker’s Mark bourbon, Courvoisier VSOP Cognac, Mancino Sakura vermouth with cherry bitters and goji berries. While the Dragon Old Fashioned is mixed to perfection with Toki Japanese whisky, Baijiu coffee liqueur, vanilla sugar and 5 Spice Bitters.
The bar at Lucy Wong will also serve a wide range of classic cocktails, such as the Mai Tai and Bramble, or opt for the non-alcoholic Panoma and Nine Dragons cocktail. The Sparkling & Champagne offering caters for every taste, from the Biscardo Millesimato Vintage Prosecco Brut to Laurent Perrier Rose and Dom Perignon. There’s also an impressive wine menu and selection of draft and bottled beers, ciders, soft drinks and Chinese Tea.

If you’re looking for something light alongside your drinks, taste snacks such as the Nori Coated Peanuts, Asian Mixed Rice Crackers or the Crispy Chicken Skin with a Miso Mustard Dip. Alternatively, try the Dim Sum and roast meat sharing plates or the chef’s tasty sides, from the Singapore Rice Noodles to the Jellyfish & Cucumber, there’s a wide range of options to choose from.

In the evenings, Lucy Wong is a pleasure-seeking playground with live music and chanteuse singers. The sounds and entertainment reflect the eras that inform the design and style of the bar, with contemporary music that evokes the same ambience.
During the opening weeks, guests can expect to see Soho showgirl Rachel D’Arcy, London-based pianist and singer Ciara Haidar, jazz artist Luca Manning and duo George & Fran, plus an array of hand selected DJs, spinning jazz, soul, disco and beyond. Live music can be seen on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays with DJs performing over the weekend until late.
Whether you are joining Lucy Wong for after-work drinks, Dim Sum sharing or late night parties, walk-ins are welcome, but bookings are advised.
