The bar is located in Tottenham Street and can seat eighty people, making it the perfect spot for an evening of great atmosphere, delicious food and unforgettable cocktails. Colourful in design, it features eye-catching terrazzo tiling, natural wood cladding, brass-monkey lights and foliage throughout. If you’re after somewhere a little more intimate, their private drinking area can seat up to 20 and features floor to ceiling windows overlooking the street.
What to drink at Pinch Bar Fitzrovia
Alex and Yana came up with the concept following their wedding in 2020 where they toasted with their traditional family-made nalivka – vodka infused with herbs, berries or roots, and decided to bring this popular Ukrainian drink to London. Infused for two months, expect tipples such as Vodka infused with sour cherry, blackcurrant, cranberry, honey and blackberry or more savoury notes like horseradish: all served in beautiful, stemmed liqueur glasses and priced from £9.50-£10.
Bar Manager Ricardo De Oliveira has curated an impressive and extensive cocktail list to spotlight some much-loved favourites whilst adding his own twist. Examples from the menu include the ‘Pinch Margarita’ with El Tequilleno Reposado, Patron Citronge, sour and agave, ‘The Kharkiv’with Hendrick’s gin, cucumber, basil, agave and soda and ‘Kyiv Mule’ with Dima’s vodka, Peychaud bitters, mint and ginger beer.
Yana, Alex and Ricardo have also taken great pride in finding independent brands to stock at Pinch Bar and have a number of ethical wines and spirits listed including La Jara vegan and organic prosecco from Treviso in Italy, small batch handcrafted Applewood gin from Adelaide in Australia and Macchu Pisco – an ultra-premium, naturally distilled Pisco made in Peru.
