If you’re yet to hear of Urban Food Fest – it’s a day of delicious street food markets stalls serving an array of global gourmet street food dishes alongside a premium bar and specialist cocktail bar alongside live music and seating areas to relax and enjoy the atmosphere. The ethos of Urban Food Fest is to exceed expectations in everything they do, to constantly innovate and to ensure they are always creating exciting and unique experiences.

For 2018 they have teamed up with experimental travel company, Intrepid Travel to celebrate the re-opening of their gourmet global street food market. Situated in the heart of the UK’s foodie capital, the one-off Intrepid Food Fest will bring a taste of Intrepid’s tours to Londoner’s front foors from 12pm on Saturday 24th March.

Research shows that 71%ⁱ of British holidaymakers say that trying local dishes is important while on holiday, with more and more people choosing a holiday destination based solely on its cuisine. Now, Brits can travel the globe in a day and let their taste-buds decide their next foodie adventure. The festival will bring to life tasty taco crawls in Mexico City, the ancient tradition of delicious Chinese dim sum, authentic fresh Middle Eastern falafel as well as many other culinary delights that will transport visitors to every inch of the world.  

The event ties in with the launch of Intrepid Travel’s new gastronomic adventure where travellers will get the chance to munch, crunch, slip and slurp their way through more than 150 local meals and delicacies on the ‘Eat Your Way Around the World’ trip. For those who don’t have 101 days to spare, the foodie festival aims to bring a ‘slice’, ‘plate’, or ‘handful’ of the authentic culinary experience home.
