Give your wedding look a refresh with Topshop Bride…

Weddings have recently shunned the traditional soppy service with a meringue-style dress forced upon you by a distant relative and brides are taking the day to wear exactly what they want. This has resulted in some beautifully stylish designs and instead of spending thousands on the dress, having extra money towards a honeymoon or house deposit, rather than an item of clothing you’ll wear once. Topshop has jumped upon the bandwagon with their launch ofTopshop Bride; available globally online and in selected stores from Thursday 13th April 2017.

Topshop Bride collection

Topshop Bride celebrates the occasion of the wedding through the eye of the Topshop customer, shunning traditional formalities in favour of a more carefree and spirited sensibility. The collection is designed with the modern Bride in mind: whether a relaxed wedding on the beach, a chic city ceremony, a church in the countryside or a second dress for the celebrations.

The collection comprises five limited-edition bridal dresses in an assortment of versatile silhouettes, including strapless, tie-shoulder and Bardot styles finished with tiered layers, peplums and sweeping trains. Each style has been elegantly designed with detailing including bias-cut satin, floral appliqués in silk organza, draped lace and fine tulle prom designs. Fabrications and colours exude a vintage feel in ivory ripple textured crêpe and dresses delicately embellished with pearls and silver threads.

Topshop Bride will also offer a selection of 25 bridesmaid dresses including soft cold-shoulder gowns with ruffles, cowl tie satin slips and cape-sleeved maxi dresses; available in an array of muted pastels such as soft heather and butterscotch in addition to pretty floral prints. A carefully edited selection of shoes, hair accessories and lingerie complete the collection.

And the best bit? You can wear them again and again. They are beautiful, timeless and special, but not items you have to leave in the back of your closet to gather dust and eventually lend to your daughter to play dress up with.
