The Bradley – The Hotel

Walking into The Bradley is like walking into your own home, from the decor to the greeting of the staff, everything feels warm and friendly. There isn’t anything that the staff of the Bradley won’t do for you which is something we think they should pride themselves in, as their customer service is second to none. The bradley hotel review

The B&B is a traditional grade II listed townhouse which is extremely well kept and steeped in history. Being a B&B it only holds 8 rooms which have all been recently refurbished to the highest of quality, making it ideal for a quieter yet luxurious stay. The communal areas include a large sized living area which is the perfect place to sit back and relax with a drink from the honest bar – This is a bar where you pour your own drinks and write a note for it to be added to your bill at the end of your stay. And a newly built breakfast area for your morning breakfast.

This isn’t the place for you if you want a gym or a busy atmosphere; this is all about the personal, quieter touches.

The Bradley – The Rooms

The rooms in the Bradley have recently been fully refurbished with each one having its own unique style. Every one comes with high specifications, quality contemporary bathrooms and all mod-cons.  You will find complimentary fresh fruit and bottled water, a generously stocked hospitality tray and luxurious Penhaligon’s toiletries in the bathroom.

The Bradley review

For our stay opted for one of their Luxury rooms which was truly stunning. As you open the door we were greeted by a fabulous four poster bed which and floor to ceiling windows which flooded the room with natural daylight creating a homely feeling which matched the hotel ethos. The decor is classic with a contemporary finish which went well with the period style furniture which included a two seater sofa, arm chair, two desks and a beautiful fireplace. The Bradley review The ensuite bathroom was a real treat; large in size it had its own stand alone bathtub, under floor heating and a perfect sized walk in shower. The bathtub was so deep you could just sit in, relax and read your book for hours. As for the decor they took a different approach making this bathroom very modern and luxurious.

The Bradley – The Surroundings

When it comes to looking at things to do, The Bradley sits at a prime position in Cheltenham. Exit the hotel and take a five minute walk you will end up at the main shopping area where you can do some much needed retail therapy in their designer stores. The Bradley B and B Cheltenham If you are into your horse racing then a trip to the famous race course (Cheltenham Races) is a must or if you are looking for a place to eat there are plenty of restaurants within a 5-10 minute walk. One we would recommend a visit to, is Cheltenham’s Michelin star restaurant the Lumiere, here you are going to have an extra special dining experience which is a treat to anyone who visits.

The Bradley – The Breakfast

In a recent refurbishment The Bradley have created their very own dining room where guests can enjoy a tasty breakfast before leaving. Breakfast is served between 7.30am – 9am Monday to Friday and 8.30am – 10am Saturday and Sunday. You can expect a selection of cereals, yogurts, fresh fruit and pastries as a lighter breakfast, or if you are looking for something more full on “the full Bradley” will fill you up for the day ahead. Other options include scrambled Eggs or smoked salmon, alternatively vegetarian options are available on request. The bradley hotel review Breakfast was spot on; we both went for “the full Bradley” and as far as fry ups go it was perfect, we couldn’t have asked for better. A nice addition which the Bradley offers is their “in a rush” service, if you need to leave in a hurry they will create your breakfast ready for you in a bag for you to take away. This will include a carton of orange juice, a cereal bar and a piece of fruit or a hot bacon baguette. Please book this when you check in!

The Bradley – The Summary

The Bradley turns your typical thoughts of a B&B totally on its head and makes for a stay unlike any other. From the service to the decor to the location you will fall fast in love with The Bradley. A real home away from home.
