In the club house at Yellow wave (attached to the volleyball courts on the seafront) they have numerous classes running throughout the week, all run by outside companies, instructors and teachers. You can try anything from Power Pilates and Pregnancy Yoga to Barre Class or 5 Waves on the Beach. After all, it’s always a good time to get fit (and have fun!)

When: Monday to Sunday

Enter a fun lego Competition

Brighton Bricks Lego Competition

Support the local businesses in the North Lanes (and release your inner child!) and take part in Brighton Bricks (Brighton Adult Lego Group’s) hidden minifigure competition! The aim of the game is to find all the mini Lego figures which are hidden in the windows of 16 businesses based in the North Laine area of Brighton and note them down on the competition form. Closing date is 16th December, when a random draw will take place for someone to win a 1000 piece box of LEGO – just in time for Christmas!

When: Daily, until 16 December

Party Bash VR Brighton

Fancy yourself as a keen gamer? What are your skills like on a virtual reality headset? On Thursday 30th November, head to Party Bash at c:\ side quest and take part in Brighton’s biggest, baddest and bashy-est virtually reality gaming night! Whether you are a novice or an expert this is a free gaming night, aimed at getting like-minded people together enjoying “sesh” on the games consoles.

Pop down to see David predicting time and reading minds in this light-hearted and fun mind reading show for adults. Become an expert at making Cocktails

Cocktail and Mixology Brighton

This one is for cocktail enthusiasts who really want to learn how to make the perfect behind-the -bar drink, or are thinking about moving into the industry. In a 6 hour course, you will get a good grounding in working with cocktails and learn all the techniques you need to feel confident when mixing drinks. Within the 6 hours, you will go over free pouring techniques, building, muddling, shaking and straining as well as learning how to make some of the most iconic and popular cocktails of all time!
