If you have yet to hear of Backyard Cinema, it is a concept that has put the fun back in cinema… to say the least!

Cinema going used to be a magical concept but recently it has been overtaken with skyrocketing prices, uncomfy seats and over-priced, flavourless popcorn. This is where Backyard cinema come in! They have created a cinema which changes themes throughout the year for a truly out-of-this-world experience. And the latest comes in the form of a Backyard Cinema Mission to Mars themed cinema – set to make London’s dreams of affordable, commercial space travel come true!

Backyard Cinema Mission to Mars

Backyard Cinema Mission to Mars theme will take you through intergalactic security before being shuttled to a spacecraft lined with giant bean bags and a space station bar. The new theme is set to be an out-of-this-world immersive cinematic experience for Sci-Fi fans and movie lovers alike! After a quick jump through hyperspace, you will get comfy as you are transported to a faraway world, enjoying a bespoke cocktail and watching the stars float by from a giant beanbag in the cosmos.

Sci-fi films on show include Interstellar, Men in Black, Star Trek, The Martian, Aliens, Guardians of the Galaxy and so many more. You can see the full movie line up here.

On its brand new galactic theme, Backyard Cinema’s founder, Dominic Davies says “Mission to Mars has got to be our most exciting theme to date. We have really worked on making this an immersive and thrilling experience for our customers and have loads of treats in store for them.
