Maggie Milosavljevic, Commercial Director for LabTech comments “Being conscious of the impact we have on the planet should be at the forefront of every retailer’s strategy. We are really proud of what we have achieved with Buck Street Market. We hope to set a new precedent not only for markets and traders, but also consumers: to start thinking more consciously about the environment and engaging in a positive change towards a better environment.

The space spans over three levels and is made up of 88 shipping containers. It boasts a stunning rooftop garden which will act as a communal space for activities such as yoga, workshops pop-ups and other entertainment. Buck Street Market’s sustainability values include recycling points throughout, zero plastic anywhere on site, composting food waste to be used to generate energy that will be fed back to the power grid and fully sustainable and eco-friendly products sold.
