Disney World

It goes without saying that a trip down to Disney World is perhaps the most important destination out of all of them. Looked at as the best theme park in the world, visiting this in Orlando is pretty much every kid’s dream.   The park is spread over an area of over 27,000 acres and is lined with some of the most exciting and nerve-wracking attractions that children can go on. You can even make your kid’s day by helping them meet their favourite Disney characters and even get an autograph from them. A few days in the park is definitely worth it if you want to make it the trip of a lifetime. You can either stay on-site or in one of the many villas in Orlando.

Kennedy Space Centre

If you have your own wannabe Sheldon Cooper,  you definitely need to pay a visit to the Kennedy Space Center while in Florida. Who doesn’t want to find out more about the worlds beyond our own as well as see some of the incredible vessels that have launched men and women into space? You have the opportunity to hop into one of the space shuttle stimulators to get a taste of what it is like to be in a real one and learn all about how to become an astronaut.

Everglades National Park

If you have a nature lover in your child, they will absolutely love the Everglades National Park and all that the place has to offer. This is the largest subtropical wilderness in the country and is home to hundreds of species of animals.  The combination of lush vegetation and exciting adventure trails definitely adds a sense of excitement to the imaginations of the children visiting there. Keep your eyes peeled to see some of the most incredible and exotic animals around.

Florida Caverns Slate Park

If your child is into geology and likes the natural phenomena of the world, they ‘re certainly going to love this place. For the best experience, take a guided tour of the site and see how much it influences your child at the end of it.

Florida is so much more than just Disneyworld. If you are visiting with your children, there are plenty of fantastic things to do for dun and to inspire their minds.
