A brand new roof terrace opening in May 2022, The Lucky Club Camden is a flagship site to The Lucky Club’s cocktail bar portfolio. With 5,600sq feet of space, this large terrace will be the ideal destination to head to when the sun shines. Specialising in Margaritas and Mezcal cocktails, you won’t be disappointed.

The Venue – The Lucky Club Camden

The venue itself is a Grade II listed, historic horse hospital and former PROUD terrace site. To turn it to the Lucky Club, it’s received a £2 million facelift including gas heaters and a retractable roof so you can enjoy it no matter the weather. Because let’s face it, UK summers can be unpredictable!

Designed by interior designer Elliot James, it has a relaxing, oasis-style vibe. Expect natural planting, foliage and a neutral colour palette for a space that whisks you far away from the mania of the city below.

The Food at The Lucky Club Camden

In contrast to its Mayfair sister site, where the focus is on Bao and Asian small plates, the new roof terrace menu will revolve around Tacos and Tostadas. Taking inspiration from Mexico City, a true melting pot of all the regions in the country, menu heroes will include The Cheeseburger Taco (ground beef, emmental cheese & diced gherkin) a popular favourite in the Capital which on its invention had people queuing around the block, a Pulled Lamb Birria Taco (dipped in a rich lamb gravy) and the Lobster Taco (poached in butter and served with a Truffle mayo and Bacon pieces.) Vegan options will also be available and boast a banging Oyster Mushroom Taco (roasted with smoked chipotle chillies) and the Coconut Ceviche Tostada. Dessert lovers can expect a sweet and salty twisted finish, with Soft Serve Icecream, drizzled with The Lucky Club Camden’s signature smoky Mezcaramel sauce.

The Drinks at The Lucky Club Camden

Whilse The Lucky Club Mayfair is all about the Lucky No 7 styles of Espresso Martini, The Lucky Club Camden will promise no less than 7 Margarita serves. Cocktail highlights will include the Frozen Naranjarita (tequila, mandarin, lime & agave)  Pepino Margarita (tequila, Cointreau, fresh cucumber juice, lime, agave & salt) and the spicy Pica Pica (Mezcal, mango juice, lime, agave, chilli).

Keen to promote positive vibes and random acts of kindness, the new opening will continue the brand’s popular Lucky Hours. Every Monday – Thursday between 5-6pm, guests will be invited to roll the die before each round. Roll a lucky number 7 and your cocktail is on the house.

“The Lucky Club name was born from an appreciation for being able to do what we love, day in, day out.  For our first foray into hospitality, we wanted to create spaces where an inclusive atmosphere, good food and amazing cocktails can be enjoyed by all.” Louis Hartshorn, Co-founder, The Lucky Club.

“The Lucky Club is a club that’s open to everyone. There is no application and no fee. The only condition of entry is that you bring good vibes. We’re an independently owned company in constant pursuit of happiness.” Brian Hook, Co-founder, The Lucky Club.
