Cavo is one of the newest and hottest additions to the London dining scene and is situated right in the city centre. Perched atop of the Outernet, an immersive entertainment district in the heart of London, it’s the ideal place to escape to after work or on a weekend when you want to get away from the hustle and bustle while still being in the thick of everything.
Observing London from above is one of the best places to be, where you can sip a cold glass of crisp white wine and watch the world rush by while you enjoy your own oasis of calm. In a place that’s constantly rushing and busy, it’s nice to take the time to just stop. has plenty of outdoor seating with marble-topped tables and plump cushioned chairs. There are umbrellas for shade, heaters for warmth if it should turn a little chilly and it’s a perfect sun trap.
What food is on offer at Cavo Rooftop Bar and Restaurant?
There are a few different menus on offer at Cavo, from a set pre-theatre menu at £35 for three courses to a lunch menu, a la carte offering and a ‘Taste of Cavo’ menu. The aforementuioned is a predominantly seafood based menu including the likes of pan-fried scallops with champagne, chilli and butter emulsion, lightly poached lobster tail and basque cheesecake.

Drinks wise, you’re spoilt for choice at Cavo. Sip on ice-cold glasses of fizz or wine, or why not tuck into one of their signature cocktails? Their Champagne Seville Orange – a mix of Metaxa 12, Jacquart Champagne, Seville orangeis an ideal summery tipple of choice, or why not try Selene – a mix of Malfy citrus gin, pomegranate, orgeat and lemon. They have an impressive Martini bar selection, premium gin menu and a range of beers, mocktails and soft drinks too.
How about Brunch at Cavo?
Cavo brings a taste of the Med to London with their seafood and sangria brunch. This innovative new menu begins with a tapas-style trio of achingly fresh appetisers featuring: a Tartare Selection of Red Snapper, Spanish mackerel, and Mazara prawns; Baccala Rocher (Italian-style salt cod and potato croquette); and Baby Octopus Stew with cherry tomato, olives, and white wine.
The signature main unveils the impressive Cavo Seafood Platter. A Neptunian feast of langoustine, lobster tail, oysters, razor clams, Mazara prawns and mussels served with a selection of piquant mignonette, burnt garlic, and citronette dips and dressings.
A light and simple Apricot Parfait with Josper poached pear rounds things off, all accompanied by a beautifully chilled carafe of deliciously refreshing sangria (or fizz if you prefer) to transport you to sandy beaches and azure oceans.
