A Cosy Winter Terrace
Inspired by Churchill’s love for Scotland and his wife, Clementine’s, admiration for the rugged landscapes of the north, the outdoor space at The Churchill Bar and Terrace will receive a Highland themed makeover this winter, providing a peaceful Scottish escape amongst the hustle and bustle of the city.
Guests can expect a red and burnt orange colour scheme, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. With various touches reminiscent of a Scottish woodland in winter, the space will feel like a cosy northwest haven right here in London, complete with twinkling lights and faux fur throws for the utmost comfort.
The cosy highland retreat will open in The Churchill Bar and Terrace on the 10th November 2025.
A Limited-Edition Winter Cocktail
To quench guest’s thirst over the festive period, The Churchill Bar and Terrace will be bringing back a much-loved, limited-edition cocktail inspired by Churchill’s favourite fruit cake. Available now, the ‘Dundee’ is made up of Hine Cognac, Pedro Ximenez Sherry, Angostura and pecan bitters and cherry soda and will be priced at £20. Unique and rich in flavour, the signature cocktail has long been a favourite among visitors to Chartwell House and makes the perfect winter addition to The Churchill Bar and Terrace’s already extensive drinks offering.
In addition to the limited-edition cocktail, guests can savour warm mulled-wine and a selection of premium spirits, fine wine and champagne.
New Year’s Eve Celebrations
Toast to the end of 2025 and the start of 2026 at The Churchill Bar and Terrace’s stylish New Year’s Eve party. With a live DJ between 6pm and 2am, guests can dance the night away with an expertly made drink in hand.
