The Pop-Up Hotel brings a trackside swimming pool to Silverstone (and here’s how you can have a go)

The Pop-Up Hotel, long-established as the insider’s retreat during Glastonbury Festival, will introduce a trackside swimming pool at the British Grand Prix, as part of its residency at Silverstone and the Monaco Grand Prix this year.

Silverstone pop up hotel swimming pool

The Pop-Up Hotel blends a distinctive, culture-led approach with an authentic, trackside motorsport experience. For Silverstone that means a temporary village created directly inside the circuit and for Monaco, the Hotel is combining a Riviera retreat with a trackside yacht. The concept is designed to immerse guests fully in the world of Formula 1, while also offering a holistic weekend escape.

A Trackside Pool for Silverstone

At Silverstone, The Pop-Up Hotel returns, this time with its signature swimming pool overlooking the track, complete with swim-up bar. Set just moments from the paddock, the Hotel creates a temporary luxury village complete with restaurants, bars and live programming across the weekend. When track temperatures rise, guests will be able  to cool off just moments away from the roar of the engines and their Hotel rooms.

It’s a concept that reflects a wider shift in Formula 1,  where race weekends are no longer just sporting events, but fully-immersive, cultural experiences.

Following a standout debut in 2025, which welcomed names including Lando Norris, Isack Hadjar, and Jenson Button, the 2026 edition will see Formula 1 World Champion Nigel Mansell staying on-site across the weekend, alongside a guestlist spanning sport, media and entertainment.

Nigel Mansell comments:  “The Pop-Up Hotel is bringing something genuinely different to Silverstone, and I’m really looking forward to staying there this year. To have that level of comfort and hospitality right inside the circuit, with great food, a relaxed atmosphere and everything taken care of, makes a huge difference across a race weekend. It allows you to enjoy the event in a completely different way.”
