Which is why we decided to catch up with some of the new and upcoming talent due to grace the catwalk. We spoke to three of the House of iKons designers to find out just where they get their inspiration from, what inspires them and their favourite places to go in London…
Gabriella Gambetta
What do you love most about being a designer?
Where do you get your inspiration from?
My inspiration comes from art , literature,music ,architecture and anatomy
Whats your favorite places to go in London?
It’s hard to say because I like Camden and brick lane because I also take influence from street style I love the fact that London does not restrict our expression in fashion we can be who we want to be and express ourselves freely.

C-Atomic by Geeta Handa
What do you love most about being a designer?
I’ve always loved being creative and being able to bring that creative expression through my designs along with making my clients feel confident and beautiful in a C-atomic outfit.
Where do you get your inspiration from?
A mix of my British and Indian heritage, classic vintage style icons, travelling and global issues expressed in certain ways into each design and dressing as a style artist.
Whats your favorite places to go in London?
Love exploring all of London, the eclectic vibe of Shoreditch with all its artists, a spot of high tea at Claridges hotel, or eating out at Sohos Townhouse…lots to do in London!

Kyree Forrest
What do you love most about being a designer?
What do you love most about being a designer? I enjoy everything about being a designer but I love the creative freedom most. There are endless possibilities and you can push your fashion as far as you can push your imagination, which is always a thrilling challenge! I love breaking boundaries and seek innovation in every design to cement my place in the industry.
Where do you get your inspiration from?
I find inspiration anywhere and everywhere: travelling, art, literature, architecture and beyond. I’m drawn to geometric shapes, paying homage to my love of enigmatic black diamonds. I’m intensely inspired to create interesting textures, I love mixing contrasting fabrics together and creating a pattern with the fabric itself.
Whats your favorite places to go in London?
My favourite place in London is The Stables Market in Camden. It houses an array of vintage designer clothing, vintage records, books and art. I love discovering hidden gems and there’s plenty to be found under this roof of endless character
