First Look: Martello Hall – London’s hottest new destination for freelancers

Martello Hall offers an exciting opportunity for freelancers…

Whilst the idea of working from home/ being a freelancer may seem super appealing, the reality can often be rather different. The novelty of working in pyjamas and from the comfort of your own home soon turns into a feeling of solitariness, boredom and the lure of homely distractions become a little too much. Now whilst this doesn’t happen all the time, it definitely is something every freelancer has experienced at some point in their lives. It is about this point you start to look for a coffee shop or library to work in – both fine, but both with limitations. Coffee shops can be super noisy, riddled with children and after making one cup of tea last three hours (we’ve all been there) you start to feel you’ve outstayed your welcome – plus there’s the limit of charging points and intermittent wifi. Libraries are quieter, but if you’re looking for a good cup of coffee whilst you work or any sort of inspiring atmosphere, you’re in the wrong place.  And this is where Martello Hall comes in.Martello Hall Hackney opensEast London’s latest bar and banquet hall is opening its doors to those seeking fast wifi, bottomless coffee and a place to hot-desk through the week. Atmospheric and exciting it’s the ideal location to bring your laptop and settle down and meet your deadlines. Martello Hall is set over three floors and decorated with a warehouse glamour and a definite East London vibe.
