London is filling with niche pop-ups and cafes, each cooler than the last. And we think we’ve discovered the best of the lot – Naked Dough, London’s very first edible cookie dough café…

Yes, you heard that first. A cookie dough café. *Swoon*
Launching on the 6^th of June 2017, Naked Dough will be opening it’s doors from 8am, meaning you can grab your sweet fix before work (it’s a special occasion, calories don’t count right?)

It will be opening as a pop up in Old Street Underground station, the female-founded cookie dough noshery themed entirely around delicious, gourmet and safe-to-eat raw cookie dough. We’re talking fat scoops of the sweet stuff available to eat straight from a tub, munched on a cone, or taken home to dig into later. Be prepared to be whisked back to childhood baking sessions and spoon licking galore.

There will be a whole host of mouthwatering flavours on offers, including “Unicorn Food” (with marshmallows and sprinkles), “Nutting Better” (peanut butter and crunched peanuts) and the “Ed Sheeran” (salted caramel and honeycomb).  Not only can it be eaten in its Naked state, but the dough can also be blitzed to make milkshakes: the best of two sweet worlds.

New York was recently luxky enough to receive a permanent cookie dough café and Naked Dough are following on from this chocolate-chipped success by bringing it over the pond to our beloved city.

The masterminds behind the idea, Hannah and Jan are both fully immersed in the foodie world, with Hannah working for an online food mag and Jen as a trained pastry chef. One this is for sure, we dough-nut want to miss this pop up…
