Love your history? This one is ideal for you. Visit the Royal Pavilion and head to the basement and tunnels below to discover the life a servant would have lived back in the day- from the rat catcher to George’s principal private secretary you are going to see a world of history which is miles away from the beautiful stature of the Pavilion. End your trip with a visit to the tunnel which led to George IV’s royal stables and riding school (now the Brighton Dome). This is one for anyone who’s looking for things to do in Brighton that involves a trip through the ages!

World Mental Health Day Celebration
Each year, on the 10th of October, people across the globe join together to educate, raise awareness and advocate for better mental health. Join Mind in Brighton and Hove and other local organisations to walk together. Let’s show our support as a city for World Mental Health Day! They will be leaving The Peace Statue by Hove lawns at 11am to walk to the Unitarian Church, New Road. The walk will be slow paced and accessible for all. At the church, from 12:30, enjoy a celebration with refreshments, with music & information until 3pm.

Attend A Live Lounge at Fiddlers Elbow
Brighton is full of talented musicians so why not go and support them and attend a live lounge this Thursday at Fiddlers Elbow. From 8:30 onwards there will be a list of acts who will perform their genre of music to you ranging from Folk to Reggae for you to enjoy. Entry is completely free – the only requirement is you sit back and enjoy your local artist showcasing their talent!

Visit Brighton’s Wind Farm
Have you been looking out to sea and wondering what the Rampion wind farm looks like up close? Well now you can! Head to Brighton Marina and take a 2-3-hour tour around the project and discover the sheer scale of this operation. In total the plan is to have around 116 turbines between 13 and 20km so no matter when you go there will be plenty to see.
