First Look: Savage Garden Bar London – the city’s hottest new rooftop bar

Take a walk on the dark side this summer with a visit to Savage Garden Bar London – a new dramatic sky-high destination bar opening in the City this June.

There is nothing like relaxing at a rooftop bar in an evening in the city. From providing delicious cocktails, beautiful views and the ultimate selfie backdrops, there is something exclusive and exciting about sipping on mojitos way above ground level. And now a brand new rooftop bar is coming – and bringing with it a dark twist – Savage Garden Bar London…

A study in experimentation and temptation, enter a decadent and twisted world, 12 storeys above, and far removed from the corporate streets of the city below.  A bar where the botanical becomes brutal, the atmosphere is unapologetic ally untamed, and the cocktail serves savage.

Savage Garden Bar London

Located on the top floor of the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel London – Tower of London, Savage Garden Bar London boasts stunning 360-degree views where you can spot some of the most iconic landmarks including The Shard, Tower of London, The Gherkin and St. Paul’s Cathedral, but it’s much, much more than just a great view.

The interiors are eyecatching – brutal yet sultry, urban yet opulent and gleam with plush velvet finishes, marbleised floors and surfaces of stone, wetal wood and glass to reflect the city’s urban landscape. Screens, simulating light and shade and a range of bespoke artworks further underline the uncontrolled nature of Savage Garden.

Outside, the terrace is ideal for al fresco dining, cocktails when the sun goes down and to curl with a hot tipple when the weather turns colder.

Hard liquor meets savage tinctures in captivating cocktails, fiercely executed by mixologist Andre Cavalheiro (formerly of Caprice Holdings). Find in theatrical serves like the Wild Poison and Devil’s Advocate.

Aside from mindful mixology, Executive Chef Damien Chorley has created a menu that focuses on small plates and savage feasting with lunch and dinner dishes given dark and unexpected twists in terms of flavour, presentation and/or plateware.

Add to this a roster of exciting DJs and musicians, and the chance to take your savagery to the dark side in Savage Garden’s unique private room – a place to embrace your wild edge.

Savage Garden Bar London – not for the faint-hearted!
