Wolf is one of the most historic and prestigious jewellery box creators in history, with over 180 years of history steeped into each and every seam. Since its conception in 1834 by German silversmith Phillip Wolf, it has gone from strength to strength whilst still retaining its core pursuit for perfection, luxury and elegance.
The company was created when Wolf discovered his silver pieces sold more when presented in beautiful boxes and when he began selling more boxes than silver, he refocused his designs to create sophisticated jewellery cases which nor only looked beautiful, but also protected meaningful treasures.
Each piece is meticulously hand-crafted and thanks to the business being passed down through five generations, it has never strayed from the family roots of its origination.
Here at Seen in the City we are often jetting off around the world and I had almost despaired of finding a travel case for my jewellery which was compact, practical and beautiful, until I came across Wolf’s Caroline Zip travel case. 
Deftly crafted from a soft rose quartz leather, it was the unique quilted exterior which first caught my eye. Fastened by a zip lock closure embellished by a leather tassel, the outer exudes understated elegance and luxury, something not many practical products succeed in conveying. 
The interior itself is made from a Lusterloc™ lining. If you’re yet to hear of this ingenious technology, it allows the fabric of your jewellery case to absorb the hostile gases known to cause tarnishing meaning that under typical storage conditions it can prevent tarnishing for up to 35 years. It has seven ring rolls, four compartments and three necklace hooks with a pocket as well as a handy mirror divider to keep your jewellery separated and also so you can check and adjust your jewellery on the spot.
