How to avoid the stress of hosting a party this season

Date:

Stress free party planning? You can thank us later…

The festive season is fast coming up and that means so is party season. Each year one unlucky group member is subject to hosting “The Party” thus condemning themselves to a home packed with guests, the stress of hosting, organising food and drink and hoping everyone is having a good time.

This is why we have looked into an alternative for you and your friends to enjoy and this is when we came up with Party Houses – homes you can rent specially for your event or party for a large group. Here are the top five reasons they’re better than hosting the party at your own home…

Everyone pitches in

From the costs to the tidying, a party house organised by a group for a group means everyone has to pitch in. Those who stay over and normally slope off in the early hours to avoid helping with the hoovering will be there to lend a hand and rather than one paying for snacks and booze, the cost will be split as it’s no ones sole responsibility.

House party tips

It’s a great chance to spend a night with your closest friends

How often is it that you get to spend a night with a large group of your nearest and dearest? This is a great chance to gather everyone together for a mini adventure where you might not normally all be able to fit. By choosing large group accommodation you can have a proper mini break and enjoy everything from the party to the morning after. Bacon sandwiches for twenty please.

It’s a chance to see another part of the country without forking out the big bucks

Because the cost is split between the number of you who go, there is the chance to see a new part and head on a mini vacation without it breaking the bank. Locations can include picturesque Devon, Wales or the Peak District – beautiful locations (and ideal for a brisk walk to clear your head the next morning!)House party tips

More space

Instead of having to cram everyone into your cosy terrace house where the party ends up spreading between the kitchen, dining room, lounge and hallways, you can choose a house which can fit everyone in – with room to spare. This means you can spend time with everyone and don’t have to worry about lack of space.

Only committed people will come

We’ve all been there. Sorting out who to invite and you are forced to invite a friend of a friend who you don’t really like, “just to be polite.” When going to a party house you filter our the party hangers-on who only come because they don’t have anywhere else to be and are left with those you want to spend time with most, who are committed to spending both the time and the money for a great night.
