Dis-Loyalty Review: The Travel App Offering Free Drinks Every Day & Major Hotel Discounts

It can feel like there’s a subscription for everything nowadays and this isn’t always a good thing. How do you learn which ones are worth paying monthly for, and which are just a bit of a farce? When I was looking to book a hotel recently, a pop-up called ‘Dis-Loyalty’ caught my eye. After a bit of research I found out that Dis-loyalty is a subscription-based travel and food membership where you pay a flat monthly or annual fee (around £12 per month or £144 a year) and enjoy immediate access to a suite of benefits.

There are over 100 hotels and 200 restaurants, bars and coffee shops on the app and you can enjoy things like discounted stays, special perks and a free coffee EVERY single day. If you’re hooked already, you can sign up here, but if you still need a bit of convincing, grab that £4 latte from your local coffee shop (that you could have got for free with Dis-loyalty) and take a read of the rest of this article.

What is the Dis‑loyalty App?

The Dis‑loyalty app, available on iOS and Android, provides easy access to benefits such as discounts and perks and lets members search by location (“Near Me”), and use a digital membership card to redeem perks in-app at participating venues. The app was officially launched in autumn 2024 and is regularly updated to bring new businesses on board.

Why It Can Help You Save Money

So, just how can Dis-Loyalty save you money? There are a myriad of ways you can get more bang for your buck with this app and it’s one we really recommend. I’m heading to Nice soon and I simply logged into the app, searched for hotels in the area and found the stunning Mama Shelter Nice with a much better price than I could find elsewhere. Amazing! Some of the ways it can help you save money includes:

  • No waiting to earn rewards: membership gives you instant access to discounts — no point-earning, no minimum stays, no tiers.

Massive hotel savings:

  • 50% off newly opened hotels (within 3 months of launch) and a one‑time discount per property
  • 20% off the first stay at every hotel in the Collective, even if you’ve been there before prior to signing up.
  • 10% off every return stay at any hotel in the network

Food & drink perks:

  • 10% off dining for up to 6 people at any participating restaurant, bar or café, even if you’re not staying at the hotel
  • 365 days of free barista-made drinks, including coffees, teas, iced drinks, even hot chocolate, every single day when you sit in and show your membership card

According to Dis‑loyalty, just getting one free coffee per week already saves around £260/year, and savvy users report much larger savings on hotel stays.

At time of writing, the Dis‑loyalty Collective includes over 100 hotels and 175–200 restaurant and bar venues, across top-tier lifestyle brands such as:

Some recent openings include Hyde London City, Mondrian Barcelona and Mondrian Gold Coast, many of which were eligible for the 50% opening discount when launched recently.

How To Use Dis‑loyalty

When signing up to Dis-loyalty I was surprised at quite how easy it was. You simply:

1. Sign up & choose a plan

You can subscribe monthly (£12/mo) or annually (£144/yr). Membership renews automatically unless cancelled, and most sign‑ups require a 12‑month commitment.

2. Download the app or use the website

Download the app to keep it on your phone where you can have access to your digital membership card, membership benefits, and search tools. You can also use their website, but I found the app a lot more user-friendly!

3. Browse & book hotels

Search hotels and see whether you’re eligible for a new‑hotel 50% discount, first‑time 20% discount, or return 10% discount. Book at least 4 days in advance via dis‑loyalty.com or the app to unlock discounts. Only the Best Flexible Rate (room‑only) qualifies.

4. Enjoy dining discounts & free drinks

For dining, show your digital membership card at any participating outlet and dine in. You’ll receive 10% off the bill for up to six people and a free sit‑in barista‑made beverage each day, no hotel stay required.

5. Cancellations & membership changes

Bookings are fully flexible: cancel up to 24 hours before check-in (72 hours for some resorts) with no charge. Contact Dis‑loyalty support to manage your membership or reactivate it if lapsed.

Final Thoughts

Dis‑loyalty strips away the complexity of traditional loyalty schemes. It offers transparent day‑one value: big discounts at stylish hotels and venues, free daily drinks, and exclusive experiences, all for under £150 a year.

Dis‑loyalty could be a game‑changer for city dwellers and travellers who love to explore stylish hotel brands and café culture. Whether you work in London and want to access the perks like free drinks as well as discounted hotel stays, or if you’re a regular traveller and will make use of the places to stay, you’re spoilt for choice. I found the whole process, from signing up, to making my first booking absolutely effortless and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend. It’s a great way to experience fantastic discounts, try out new hotels and more.
