Eau Palm Beach Hotel Review

If you were to head to Palm Beaches and drive down South Ocean Boulevard, between the Palm trees and toasty haze, you would soon come to the Eau Palm Beach Hotel – an AAA Five Diamond resort situated right on the beach. The entrance is grand, with a sweeping drive-way and attentive valet who will take your car to a secure underground car park. Walk through the front doors and be welcomed by an elegant and luxurious lounge and reception area. The ceiling is adorned with glass chandeliers that sparkle when the light hits and the floor with plush armchairs decorated with squashy cushions just begging to be sat upon with a cocktail while you watch the views beyond.

Eau Palm Beach

The Hotel has two swimming pools, a fire pit to curl up with a cocktail in the evenings and a beautiful sandy beach, which if you’re lucky enough to head there in turtle hatching season – and are up early enough – you might even see baby turtles emerge from their nests. It’s a hotel which combines luxury with homeliness, it is beautiful and it is elegant – and provides everything you could want for a true five star stay in Palm Beaches…

The Rooms at Eau Palm Beach

Take the elevator up to your room where you are greeted with a bright and airy hallway before reaching your room. Push open the door and you are standing in a beautifully spacious hallway. The room is reminiscent of balmy Floridian beach days, with shades of pearly white and golden yellows, piercing blues, silver and rippling turquoise. Each room  features unique decor by Jonathan Adler, his playful and sophisticated style represented in each sun-drenched nook and cranny.

Slip your feet into the provided flip-flops and patter out to your large balcony where you can sit on the table and chairs and sip coffee as the sun rises in the morning, or curl up in the swinging cushioned chair with a book and listen to the sound of the waves. The views here are breathtaking – so much so it’s hard not to feel your worries melt away with each and every lap the waves crawl on the shore. The bathroom is cosy and relaxing with a bath to recline after a day of exploring as well as a shower and double sink.

Dining at Eau Palm Beach

There are a few restaurant options to choose from at the Eau Palm Beach: Breeze Ocean Kitchen – the closest restaurant to the beach, Stir bar where you can get a range of delicious cocktails, Angle – an indulgent and contemporary style restaurant and Nobu, a Japanese-Peruvian restaurant from the world-renowned Chef Nobu Matsuhisa. Whether you’re after a romantic dinner, a relaxed oceanfront lunch or cocktails at sunset, Eau Palm Beach offers a dining experience to suit every mood.

The Spa at Eau Palm Beach

If ever you have thought “a spa is a spa” you have not have yet seen the award winning 42,000 square foot Eau Spa. It is a haven of utter decadence, self-indulgence and real “me-time.” Enter and you are greeted with a cold glass of champagne, deliciously fluffy slippers and a robe and led to a fountain where you can light a candle and make a wish. Every moment in the spa is designed to celebrate you and ensure every second is about wellbeing. Their three main thought of focus are: Pause, Play and Perfect – and you can tailor your treatment to these. Indulge in a 60 minute massage for the ultimate treat and your room will be tailored depending if you want to Pause, Play or Perfect, with corresponding scents, colours, music and a scrub made to that vibe.

Once you are utterly and entirely relaxed, you can head to the main spa where there are a multitude of places for you to continue you journey of wellbeing and escaping from everyday life. Treat yourself to a cupcake or piece of fruit and head to the self-centred garden – a beautiful oasis with dipping pools, hanging chairs, cabanas and a massage bench. Bring your glass of champagne and a magazine and tip your toes in the water as the warm sun beats gently on your face. Head to the private garden villas where you will find outdoor showers, bath tubs and lounging areas, or back inside where you can create your own body scrub, step in saunas, steam rooms and oversized jacuzzis. This is your change for utter self-indulgence like you have never had before and we advise you to enjoy every single second of it. For anyone who wants more of a focus on fitness, there are a range of group classes, a 24 hour fitness center with cardio equipment, free weights, training equipment and a spin studio.

The Area

When staying in the Eau Hotel Palm Beach, while we’d advise you spend plenty of time enjoying the facilities in the hotel itself, there is also a lot to do in the area that is well worth exploring. Head to Blueline Surf & Paddle Co. where you can paddle board round the most beautiful Intracoastal with palm trees, a lighthouse and stunning houses off the waters edge. It’s also worth driving to the Palm beach outlets for some shopping and hring out bikes for a tour of Palm Beach. For culture head to the Henry Morrison Flagler Museum, or to Palm Beach Zoo for your animal fix. For a taste of something a little quirkier, take a trip to Delray Beach where you can visit art galleries, head for dinner and spend an evening in Silverball – a bar/ arcade museum with hundreds of free retro games to play.

The Eau Palm Beach is a Hotel unlike any other. It combines luxury, elegance and homeliness. It is a treat from the second you are welcomed through the glass doors with a glass of champagne, to the day you begrudingly follow the conceirge back out with your cases. It provides somewhere to truly escape the hassles of everyday life and to return to again and again. For one thing is certain, no amount of stays at the Eau Palm Beach will ever feel enough – you’ll always want to go back for more.
