Lastly, one of the problems with having a box room is that you can never easily decide if it will be a bedroom, a guest room, or just somewhere to dump stuff that doesn’t quite fit in anywhere else in your house. This is why when you give your box room a makeover you need to consider the logistics of this.
What you could do is make your box room into a spare room that kids can use if they stay over at your home. A day bed acts as a sofa during the day and converts into a bed in the evening.
