The UK is filled with a myriad of beautiful National Parks to relax in and visit. Here are five of our favourites you don’t want to miss out on…
South Downs
The Southdowns offers over 100 miles of breath-taking views from Winchester all the way to Eastbourne. Offering some of the country’s finest rivers and plenty of wildlife, it promises to offer peaceful walks for you and your family and designated cycle routes which are car-free. With so much to choose from you can spend weeks planning your activates.
Our Tip
Catch the no 13X bus from Eastbourne to Brighton (or vice versa) and sit up top for spectacular views over the white cliffs of Seven Sisters and Beachy Head. Hop off at Birling Gap to enjoy a scenic walk along the cliff tops or at Seven Sisters Country Park for a walk along the river Cuckmere to the pebble beach and a view up at the cliffs.

Lake District
Designated as a national park in 1951, the Lake District offers some of the most stunning views the UK can offer. With many different locations you can explore a variety of areas including the famous Windermere on foot or explore the Coniston water on a canoe or an electric boat. With over 885 square miles of national park there is something for everyone.

Snowdonia
Discover Snowdonia’s national park, a place where you can relax but also enjoy some of the country’s most beautiful lands. Here you have the highest mountain in Wales, where you can discover its historic castles or trek along the 23-mile coastline and enjoy the stunning views which they process. Full of steep river gorges, waterfalls and green valleys, this is a place of natural beauty.

Loch Lomond and The Trossachs
Loch Lomond is packed full of things to do. Ideal for explorers, thrill seekers and casual ramblers alike there is something for everyone. Great for water sports, there are a whole host of activities on offer- boat trips, sailing and canoeing are just some of the activities available all year around (as long as the weather right). Away from the water, you can explore the breathtaking views, with over twenty-one different munros to climb, (Ben more being the highest at 1,174m.) Wherever you visit at Loch Lomond, you’re never far from breathtaking sights and are guaranteed a great day out.

Peak District
If you enjoy cycling, walking or wildlife watching then the peak district will be something for you. Located between Manchester and Sheffield you will have the opportunity to cycle through multi terrain circuits which are traffic free, take a tour on a pony’s back or attempt a climb on some of the Europe’s most popular routes. There are so many different activities to do for the whole family.
