Morunning Brighton 2016

Movember is fast approaching so why not get your running shoes on and head to Stanmer Park as MoRunning will be returning on the 26th November 2016 at 10am.

Kicking off with a 5km or 10km, you’ll get to participate on a fun run, where the competition isn’t in winning the race, but in raising as much money and awareness for the Movember Foundation as possible – A global charity which helps to raise awareness for men’s health.

Morunning is not about your time or how far you can run; it’s all about getting together, being a team and working as a community. Bring your craziest costumes, raise some sponsorship and feel good as you’re clapped and cheered, as you pass the finish line knowing that you have played your part in helping men live longer, healthier lives.mo_runner_seen_in_the_city

The excitement of this year is that the new ambassador is no other than the incredible fitness fanatic Mr. Motivator. When speaking of the event, he said, “I am so excited to be playing a role in this year’s MoRunning. It is a great opportunity to get dressed up in fancy dress and have fun, but beyond this, there is the chance to raise awareness about men’s health, whether this is mental or physical. I hope to motivate as many people as I can, to not only have fun with this challenge, but to also raise as much money and awareness as possible!”

This is not only a Brighton event. Mo-running has 17 venues where you can join and help shape the future of mens health. In fact last year alone over 16,000 Mo Runners took part and this year Morunning is hoping to raise an impressive £100,000 for the Movember Foundation to help make a difference.
