As Somerset House’s annual Summer Series of outdoor gigs begins, San Miguel x Somerset House terrace will host sundowner sets. Sip an ice-cold beer or cocktail and escape to an Ibizan experience in the heart of the city. Ideal as a place to meet friends or head for a date on Friday, it’s the perfect retreat by the river. Plus, make the most of the weekend with their Friday Sundown Hour. From 6pm-7pm enjoy two pints of San Miguel Especial and two tapas dishes for just £20. Perfect for feasting as the sun sets behind you.
The open style bar is both sheltered and heated. Decorated with ambient lights and smooth wooden floors, you can enjoy the location come rain or shine. Most tables are under cover, but there’s a handful outside enabling you to catch a summer breeze.
As well as wine and beer, you need to try the San Miguel Sundown Spritz. A blend of Tequila, Pomegranate Juice, Lime, Grenadine, Agave Syrup and San Miguel Especial it’s a treat for the tastebuds. While you mightn’t expect beer to work in a cocktail, it does. The result is something that’s refreshing and packs a punch with flavour.
What food is served at the San Miguel x Somerset House Terrace?
Tapas dishes include the likes of slow cooked mini chorizo with piquillo peppers, prawns, garlic & chilli served with flatbread and Padron peppers. You can also tuck into a range of sharing boards, stone-baked flatbreads and bar snacks such as olives and fried & salted corn.
