Festival Survival kit – What to pack for a festival for the best experience

Date:

We’ve put together the ultimate festival survival kit including what to pack for a festival for the best experience…

Festival season is here! And alongside the fun stuff like denim shorts, face glitter and prosecco, you need to have yourself a festival survival kit of all the essentials. After all, you’re stuck in the middle of a field, so everyday comforts and items you might need but not think about, aren’t that easy to come by. Here is what to pack for a festival for the best experience…

1) External phone battery

The best advice is to take a portable charger with you so that you can keep your phone alive without missing out on any fun. You can also keep snapping away loads of photos for your blog/insta/to show your mum. Most festivals these days offer on-site charging points, but the queue will be massive so it’s just easier to bring your own.

2) A hangover cure

Festival Survival kit - What to pack for a festivalLet’s face it, where there’s a festival, there’s booze and where there’s booze there’s a hangover. Which is not really ideal when you’re going to be woken early the next morning and want to be fresh as possible for another day of dancing and singing along to your favourite artists. We recommend drinking a glass of water with every alcoholic drink if you can, and also adding innovative new product Yeti & the Fox to your festival survival kit. This is an innovative hangover brand that speeds up the breakdown of toxins in the liver, replenishing glutathione levels allowing those who have consumed alcohol to continue fighting toxins from alcohol and helping them to avoid hangovers. Perfect for a festival so that you can keep enjoying your weekend without a headache getting in your way. Of course, we don’t recommend getting off your face the whole time, but enjoy yourself and know that Yeti & The Fox has your back. Get a 25% discount on Yeti and the Fox! Enter Yeti4SeenInTheCity at the end of the checkout at www.yetiandthefox.com and the discount applies.

3) Eat at least one solid meal

Festival Survival kit - What to pack for a festivalDancing around and raving all day and night takes up a lot of energy, so you want to make sure you eat properly. Make sure you eat a substantial dinner with carbs in it to keep you full before heading out to dance the night away… Also, snacks are always a good idea. Carry around cereal bars or nuts for whenever you start to feel peckish – these are a must for our festival survival kit!

4) Wear Sunscreen

Festival Survival kit - What to pack for a festivalThis is an obvious – You don’t want to get burnt on your first day there and ruin your whole experience. It would be miserable and a complete waste of a good weekend. Keep yourself protected and drink loads of water to prevent any illness’ or sunstroke or any other nasty sun-related illness. Even if the weather is forecast for rain or is cloudy, wear cream just incase the sun pops through.

5) Take Wet Wipes

They are the most versatile festival item, you can freshen up your feet and armpits, clean mud from your body/phone screen/legs/shoes, wipe down a toilet seat, clean your hands before eating. Carry them with you at all times!!

These are our top items for your Festival Survival kit and we’ve made a list of what to pack for a festival below so you can tick the items off as you go! And don’t forget to just have the time of your life!
