First Look: Stripes Amalfi Terrace Mayfair – Bringing a taste of the coast to the city

Date:

Mayfair’s Brown Hart Gardens welcomes Stripes Amalfi Terrace – an expansive alfresco drinking and dining destination in the heart of London for the summer.

Drawing inspiration from Italy’s Amalfi Coast, the design-led Stripes Amalfi terrace transports guests to the luxurious Italian coast whilst bringing a brand-new offering to London’s alfresco drinking and dining scene. Adorned with lemon trees and lush Mediterranean foliage, striped sun loungers and beach umbrellas from the Amalfi Coast, guests can sip on spritzes and immerse themselves in the magic of an Italian summer.

Stripes Amalfi Terrace serves a menu of authentic Italian Pinsa – a lighter alternative to traditional pizza – alongside gourmet southern Italian street food designed by celebrity chef Enzo Oliveri. Highlights from the menu include the Amalfi Garden Pinsa with asparagus, zuchetta, vegan fresh curd, pea shoots and Amalfi lemon; Caviar and Crème Fraiche Pinsa with Oscietra caviar, crème fraiche, chives and Amalfi lemon; and Burrata and Truffle Pinsa with Fior di latte, sliced Umbrian truffle and burrata. Guests also can also indulge in authentic Italian gelatos from the Gelato Bar and fresh, locally sourced oysters from the Oyster Bar.

In true summer style, Stripes Amalfi Terrace offers a curated list of fresh spritz cocktails in partnership with Chandon Garden Spritz, Select Aperitivo, Amaro Montenegro, Whitley Neil Gin and London Essence, alongside classic Italian cocktails with a twist and a curated menu of contemporary wines and prosecco.

In addition, Italian fragrance house Acqua Di Parma has curated an exclusive cocktail incorporating notes and flavours from their iconic fragrance Fico di Amalfi, as well as showcasing their new collection of home diffusers and candles.

Open seven days a week, Stripes Amalfi Terrace plays host to a series of iconic events across the summer months including Wimbledon screenings, Italian food markets and pop-ups, immersive art and fashion experiences and an Italian Film Festival. Not only the perfect destination for a summer evening, Stripes Amalfi Terrace also offers guests a peaceful morning oasis with perfect Italian coffee from Lavazza and Amalfi Coast ischitano – a breakfast staple of sweet and savoury filled croissants.

Those looking to get ahead of the curve and not miss out, can pre-book spaces at Stripes Amalfi Terrace for groups of six and up via the website and receive a complimentary spritz upon arrival. Located in the heart of Mayfair, Stripes Amalfi Terrace sits just off Duke Street and is a short walk from Bond Street, Marble Arch and Oxford Circus underground stations.
