It’s official, curls are IN. Gone are the days of sleek, slick back barnets and in are wild and wonderful waves.
Whether embracing your natural curls, creating tight curls or going for loose beach waves you can’t go wrong.
We decided to try out Lee Stafford’s Chopstick Styler to create some wild corkscrew curls for a real trend-setting look and were super pleased with the results. At just £19.99 it is super impressive and let’s you create this look. The ceramic coated barrel and high heat up temperature gives you a real top performance item of style – the stick gets really hot though (up to 200 degrees) so Iwe’d recommend you wear a heat protector glove. As you use smaller strands of hair here than you would normally, it can take a while – it took us about half an hour – so be sure to leave a little extra time if planning to curl your hair in the morning.
Lee Stafford’s top tips:
- Before using the Chopstick Styler we recommend using Poker Straight Flat Iron Protection Shine Mist or Heat Protection Professional Straightening Iron Protection Mist.
- Make sure the hair is dry and there are no knots or tangles within the hair to avoid any snagging.
- Section the hair into manageable sections.
- Taking one of these sections, wrap the hair around the CHoPstick STYLER curling tong.
- Hold in place for 8-10 seconds and release.
- Be careful not to let the appliance touch the scalp.
- Repeat with the next section of the hair. Continue around the rest of the head until you have created the desired hair style.
- Allow the hair to cool.
- To hold your style use Lee Stafford Hold Tight Hair Spray.
